Wachusett Mountain State Reservation, Leominster State Forest, Mass Audubon Sanctuary are among the many perfect fall venues for scenic foliage hikes. Wachusett Mountain Ski Area dishes up new themed fall festivals from late August through early November and offers scenic chairlift rides to the mountain summit.

Fall sports are a tradition in North Central Massachusetts – including the local town youth soccer matches each weekend and the regional games at the Massachusetts Youth Soccer complex in Lancaster.
