Be a-were of Appleseed Country – Have you heard the whispers? They say if you’re looking to have eerie, hair-raising, and frightening experiences, to bring your boils and ghouls to Johnny Appleseed Country for all the 2015 Halloween festivities.
All October long, howl at the moon while celebrating Howl-O-Ween at the Great Wolf Lodge with Trick or Treat Trails, Spooktactular Story Time, and Monster Bash Dance Parties. During the October weekends, if you dare to look for on-going adventure visit Davis Farmland – 145 Redstone Hill Rd., Sterling. Starting 9:30am on Saturday and Sundays, join in on Moo Moo’s “Fright Free” Halloween Party. Then after dark, watch the corn maze mysteriously transform into a Fright Night, sure to make you scream.
On Thursday October 29th, let the fear take over as you enjoy a classic screening of, “Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein” by Kenneth Branagh at Mount Wachusett Community College – 444 Green St., Gardner.
Saturday October 24th the options are otherworldly. There will be a Halloween Parade in downtown Leominster starting at 1pm. At 6pm, prepare for a Halloween Party & Ghost Walk through the Shirley Town Common, where you’ll be lead by lantern from the Center Town Hall, engaged in local folklore and ghost stories. Also at 6pm disappear and join the Mask-R-Rade Murder Mystery Dinner Show at the American Legion – 3 Central St., Baldwinville. Remember to wear a mask and the color red for a special surprise.
