It’s a Racin’ Reunion

Roaring Engines, billowing smoke, a cheering crowd – can mean only one thing – It’s Drag Strip Reunion time in North Central Massachusetts. The Orange Drag Strip Reunion is back… and the Sterling Airport. Based for several years at the Orange Airport, the popular event, home of the 330 Nationals, will be held on this year on June 15 in Sterling. If you love drag racing, you’re in for a treat. It’s a full day of racing excitement. Take a look at the race line-up; Nostalgia Eliminator; Heavy Eliminator; Street/DOT Classes; Muscle Car Eliminator (fun runs and grudge matches) – this exhibition is open to all types of pre;’74, four wheeled street or race vehicles. And don’t forget the Drag Reunion Mega Car Show! Everyone is invited to participate – all cars, trucks, and motorcycles dating from pre-’74 are welcome. Good news! There is no additional fee for showing your vehicle, you just show up, pay the standard admission fee, and you’re in.

What can show? Basically anything from the late 1800s- 1973 is welcome: from fully restored to rust original, stock or all out race cars, black primer to show paint, brass era to muscles car, it’s all good! The show also welcomes cars, racers and memorabilia that were part of New England’s racing history! So dust off those cars, trophies and photo albums and head to the Sterling Airport in June for a fun-filled day!
