Dishing Up a World of Flavor

When you’re hungry but just don’t know what you’re in the mood to munch on, there’s no better place to be than at a food truck festival!

Think about it: Beefy Burritos. Chili Dogs. Meatball Parmigiana. Empanadas. Brisket Sandwiches. Polish Kapusta. Good old homestyle Mac & Cheese. Or maybe you want to give in to temptation and satisfy that sweet tooth with a chocolate cannoli, candy apple, cinnamon churro or a decadent cupcake. Go for it!

The choices can seem endless, so it’s a good thing that there are food truck festivals popping up throughout North Central Massachusetts this year! Whether you’re an experienced foodie, or a newcomer to the world of gustatory celebrations, be prepared to enjoy a great community event filled with culinary discovery.

Trucks of all sizes, colors, and cuisines will be congregating in May in downtown Fitchburg, and in June at Verbeck Field in Devens and GAR Park in Winchendon. You’ll find a foodie heaven in downtown Gardner in July when streets around City Hall fill with tasty treat trucks, too.

And while they’re not necessarily taking center stage, you’ll find food trucks converging at the Nashua River Brewers Festival in Fitchburg at Riverfront Park, because, you know, beer and great munchies just go together.
