Wyndonshire-x-Enchanted-OrchardLords and ladies! Mermaids and trolls! Prepare for four days of celebration in the merry town of Wyndonshire and the Enchanted Orchard of Philllipston!

For two magical weekends this spring, the new Community Park on Ingleside Road in Winchendon and Red Apple Farm in Phillipston will be transported back in time for a Renaissance Faire complete with royalty, common folk, faeries and other intriguing characters. And the merriment runs from 11 am to 7 pm all four days!

Visitors to the Winchendon park on April 27 and 28 can shop for unique wares in the marketplace, watch a sword demonstration or dance performance, or munch on a smoked turkey leg (no utensils required), accompanied by a mug of mead.

There will be lots of music, time to wander through a faerie grove and frolic with fae folk, and opportunities to meet the Royals. Come see the rivalries between the Red Baron, the Green Queen, and the Blue King, and engage in a world of activities for all ages.

Let the Battles Begin!

The Knights of Lord Talbot, an education-based reenactment group, will engage in hand-to-hand battle and help set the tone for this days-of-yore event, right here in ye olde North Central Massachusetts.

As you wander through the Community Park, you’re sure to come across a variety of rogues, trolls, bandits, rangers, and village elders. Listen for news from the town crier, who will be announcing events and observing goings-on throughout the day. And prepare to be entertained by the royal jester!

But wait! There’s more! The merriment and wonder continue on May 4 and 5 in the Enchanted Orchard at Red Apple Farm, where skilled jesters, minstrels, local artisans and performer will entertain and entrance you. Enjoy splendid fare, jovial libations, and engage in games of skill and tests of bravery.
