Central Mass Grown at Red Apple Farm

  • Visit North Central

This Friday we have an Agritourism Workshop at Red Apple Farm in Phillipston. In collaboration with CISA. We will visit with Al Rose and his team to learn how they navigate farm life as an agritourism destination. If you are thinking of incorporating events, festivals, or other agritourism events into your farm business, join us to hear how the Red Apple Team has addressed and overcome issues that relate to opening his farm to the public.

Evolved from a wholesale apple orchard four generations ago to a retail location that draws thousands of visitors each year for apples and an all-around agriculture experience. Red Apple Farm‘s wide ranging selection of tours, PYO, live music, hay rides, and many more activities requires a lot of staff, planning, and logistics as well as a far reaching reputation. We encourage farmers to learn from Red Apple’s successes, challenges, and history and walk away with useful information to bring to ones own operations.

This workshop is free and open to the public. Please do RSVP up until the day of the event to allow for an accurate attendee list.
