Guests are invited to experience the gardens of New England Botanic Garden at golden hour, discovering a series of musical performances along the way. From a grand piano and flute in the Limonaia, to a string quartet in the Lawn Garden, guests will be able to take a stroll and enjoy an artistic and meaningful musical experience performed by small ensembles of musicians interspersed throughout the gardens. This special event showcases luminous music by emerging composers, performed by some of Boston’s foremost chamber musicians.
Doors open at 5:45pm. Ticketed entrance times are at 5:45pm and 6:30pm. Musical performances take place simultaneously and repeat throughout the evening, starting at 6pm and concluding at 8:45pm.
This event is designed as a roving concert, with audiences moving from station to station and exploring the gardens as they travel in between musical performances which will be repeated in sets throughout the evening. Visitors are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs or picnic blankets. Limited seating will be available by each performance location for those who need it.
A selection of beer, wine, and light snacks will be available for purchase during the event. Outside alcohol is not permitted at the Garden.
