The Language of Icons: Art as Revelatio at the Gardner Museum, 26 Pearl St., Gardner. Dennis Sardella, docent at the Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton, will give an illustrated lecture about Byzantine and Russian icons, their history, symbolic language, and role in the liturgical and spiritual life of the Eastern Church.
